NAGAAA/ASANA Hall Of Fame
With the creation of the Amateur Sports Alliance of North America(ASANA) in 2007/2008 that will continue
to host the Women's Softball World Series the legacy of the NAGAAA Women's Hall of Fame continues on.
The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to provide an historical perspective and perpetuate the history of
gay softball and the Gay Softball World Series.
Any 10-year member of an ASANA league or association, whether living or deceased, can be nominated for
the Hall. The nominees should have made significant contributions to NAGAAA Women/ASANA and/or their
league. Anyone familiar with a candidate can make nominations for the Hall by the published due date.
The living members of the Hall of Fame and certain at-large members vote on the nominees each year,
based on the credentials presented with the applications. The candidates who receive at least
two-thirds of the votes cast are inducted into the Hall at the awards ceremony of that year's Softball
World Series.

Boosters
Each year, new members of the ASANA Hall of Fame are presented with a HOF shirt and HOF plaque during the
induction ceremony at that year's Softball World Series. The members are invited to a Celebration where Hall
of Fame members and players attend to welcome the new members. Funding for the Hall of Fame is provided by
the member cities, but the Hall membership has created a Booster Club. If you would like more information on
how an individual or an organization can become a member of the booster organization,
please

Current Members
In 1997, NAGAAA inducted the founding fathers from New York and San Francisco. In 2001, the NAGAAA Women's division was eligible to begin induction which was done at the World Series festivities. ASANA has continued with this tradition. As of June 2011, there are currently 37 NAGAAA Women/ASANA Hall of Fame members. Please join us in honoring them for significant contributions to their own leagues and to the National organizations.
